As a kid I went down to Arizona to visit my grandparents. At the time they were doing some mission work on a Navajo reservation. When I got out of the car I remember looking out across the open vista of desert scrub land and thinking "Wow, so much space...". More than anything this is an ode to the beauty of Arizona, both the desert and the plains. The mesa towering overhead and the clear blue sky that looks so close you could touch it.
